The terminal handles a few keys itself, ahead of the shell: Shift+PageUp, Shift+PageDown, Shift+Home and Shift+End move through the scrollback, Shift+Insert pastes, Ctrl+Insert copies and a middle click pastes. Hold Ctrl and click to open a link, and hold Shift to select text inside a program that has taken the mouse. See the keyboard guide for the rules behind the chords and the keys inside the palette.
